Château du Raux is a very beautiful 18th century residence of 30 hectares of forest including 20 hectares of vines. It is located in the Cussac Fort Médoc commune, at the heart of the Médoc region between St-Julien and Margaux, close to the Gironde River. The estate’s location is in accordance with the old saying: “in order to have a very good wine, the vines should overlook the river but not bath in it.”
